The Spirits of Baroque
This project is an ethereal take on a baroque style. My goal was to make a woman feel like she is part of a mysterious and seductive nymph community. Handsewn embroidered appliqué with bead embellishment on a sheer net and a bias cut silk charmeuse creates an illusion that the gown is a natural continuation of a woman’s body (in the same manner as we think of a mermaid’s tail in relation to the mermaid).
