Our Connection to Jesus
My thesis is about Jesus who came down from heaven. Jesus said, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” (John 6:38) I am presenting that Jesus is the only one who can unite heaven and earth. Jesus is above all names.
The brown cracked leather represents the Earth, and the white pleated ruffles represent Heaven.
I focused on giving lots of textures and volume to the petticoat.
I used horsehair, tulle, and organza for the white petticoat.
The asymmetrical bottom
I bleached the leather to give a more realistic, cracked effect.
