“Eternity transcends the existence of time, whereas permanence remains in the realm of time. It feels like the myth of eternity—you could only taste it at the fleeting moment of chaos.” My haute couture dress was inspired by Guoqiang Cai’s gunpowder-blasting artworks so plum blossoms and bamboos are hazily hand-painted or created by differently colored tennis balls to give a feeling of fireworks. I want to convey the beauty of traditional Chinese culture as well as eternal love.
